Introducing the Zapdos Character Ball. Zapdos bursts outward from the familiar capture-ball silhouette here, with its jagged wings spreading well beyond the 70 mm core to give the design its sharp, electric presence.

Zapdos is Pokédex entry #145, an Electric and Flying type and one of the three Legendary Birds first introduced in Generation I. Defined by its bright yellow plumage, jagged lightning-bolt-shaped feathers along its wings and the spiky crest on its head, it is said to live inside thunderclouds and gain strength by absorbing lightning. Of the three Legendary Birds, Zapdos is widely considered the most competitively useful in the original games.

Each design is built around a 70 mm core ball, with the character elements branching out from there. The central button clicks when pressed, making it a subtle desktop fidget toy as well as a display piece.

Each Zapdos Character Ball is multi-colour 3D printed, not painted. The colours are part of the print, so they won’t chip, flake or peel over time. It’s made to be displayed, handled and enjoyed.
