I'm Jared, the geek behind the wheel of The 3D Print Smiths.

After spending the last 14 years working my way up from the ground floor of an industry-leading eCommerce company, I have developed a genuine passion for the world of online business. The company I have been a part of operates in a very specific niche, and I am proud to say that I helped shape it to become the largest of its kind in Australia. Now I am channelling that experience and passion into something of my own.

Ever since I was young, I have been fascinated by how things are made and how imagination can be turned into something tangible. This curiosity led me to discover 3D printing, where the only limit is your creativity. What started as a hobby quickly grew into something much bigger, and now, through The 3D Print Smiths, I get to share that passion with you.

The workshop is based in Tangambalanga, a small town in regional Victoria. Everything we sell is designed and printed here. Light boxes, fidget toys, articulated dragons, coasters, trading card accessories, collectables and more. If it can be 3D printed and it is something I would want on my own desk, it is probably in the range.

Every piece I create must meet my personal quality standard. I always ask myself, "Would I be happy to receive this?" Whether it is a light box for a home bar, a fidget toy that stops you bouncing your leg (guilty), or a small gift for a loved one, I pour my heart into every detail.

My day job is very different from 3D printing, which is why I love it. There is always something new to print, create or tweak each day. It is not just about the products. The things I print can become a part of your daily life, and every detail matters.
